Veggie Boxes – we will be at Carterton market Thursday 18th December but there is no market on 25th December or 1st January.
Our Veggie boxes will be back up and running from the 8th January 2026.

20th Anniversary Logo Competition – Result

JULY/AUGUST 2025
The start of our busy period began in June with the pool opening and the Shop selling bacon and sausage baps. On Sunday 18th June was the village’s NGS Open Garden Day with Barry doing a great job serving visitors with ice creams and other goods.
During July the volunteers worked hard shopping, pricing, stocking, selling and all other things involved with running our shop. As always, we can never have enough volunteers. If you wish to volunteer come along to the Shop and talk to one of us.
In August we began planning our anniversary celebrations. In September our Shop will have been open for 20 years. We are asking all past, present customers and volunteers to send or hand in any photos, memories or funny stories they may have, which we could display throughout the month to celebrate.

Egg Boxes
Our Mayfield Free Range Eggs are so popular, we run out of egg boxes quite regularly. If you have any half dozen egg boxes going spare we would be very grateful if you could bring them in for us.

Veggie Boxes
Lynne has also had to stop doing her veggie boxes but we at the Shop are stocking fresh fruit and vegetables from the market every Thursday with top ups during the week from elsewhere.
We are also happy to put together a veggie box for those in need.

New Shop Officers
Sadly, due to illness, Lynne Savege has had to resign as Chair of the Shop.
Sally Denyer has agreed to be acting Chair with Sue Yardley agreeing to be Acting Secretary until the Shop’s next AGM.
