Filkins & Broughton Poggs Volunteer Doctor and Hospital Car Rota
For many years the village has operated a volunteer car rota for those who live in Filkins or Broughton Poggs and who need transport to attend to either a Doctors or Hospital appointment. We cover the major hospitals, including all the Oxford hospitals and the Great Western in Swindon, as well as all the local surgeries. There is a charge for the service to cover petrol and any parking charges.

If you would like to join our team of drivers please contact Sue, Freda or Charlie as above. It only works out at three or four trips a year and makes a huge difference to our community given our remoteness from the major hospitals.
