    We will still be following the Covid protocol so 2 m distancing, please wear masks when moving around the hall, sign in with Covid app or sign the attendance sheet and use hand sanitizer provided,

    Temporary Traffic Regulation Order – S14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

    Temporary Road Closure and “No Waiting” Restriction at Filkins, A361

    In the interests of public safety it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close a section of the A361 to facilitate carriageway patching works.

    A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is being made to implement the temporary closure and “No Waiting” restriction and will operate from 14 January 2022 The estimated completion of the works is 25 January 2022.  The closure will operate nightly between 20.00 and 06.00.

    “Back to 1952” – swing band and fish and chips in Filkins Village Hall from 7.30pm

    til late followed by all years disco. Dress up in 1950’s clothes (if you want) and

    dance the evening away. Tickets £5 per person or £15 for a family of up to 4 – this

    will cover your fish and chips. Tickets will be available from the Village Shop and

    Cotswold Woollen Weavers.

    Please buy your tickets in advance as we have to give numbers to the fish and

    chip van.

    Saturday 3rd December, 5.45 pm at the Bus Shelter Grotto,
    accompanied by Mr Fuddles of course!
    Sweets for all the children - squash - cakes and for the adults, mulled wine and mince pies.
    Christmas music will be played, and the tree lights will be switched on at 6pm.
    Donation can be made on the evening to support the event
