Happy New Year!
Very much hoping you have all managed to stay well since we last saw each other.
On cold, rainy February days Bowls is, for most of us, not at the forefront of our minds but our greenkeeper Mick has already been out tending to the green starting to get it ready for the new season which will hopefully be a little bit more “normal”.
That said, Bowls England’s website, at the moment, advises very much the same measures as last year.

We will put together and circulate to our members a summary of this, and any new advice they publish, before the start of the season.
Last years’ season wasn’t a complete write off, we managed a few rollups and club competitions, and once the current lockdown restrictions are lifted we will hopefully be able to start our 2021 season!
Many clubs have already been in touch with our fixture secretary Terry to arrange games – who knows, we may even have a fixture list this year!
As soon as we are able to we will arrange a meeting.
Please stay in touch, let us know how you feel and think about the upcoming bowls season.
Hoping to see you all soon!
Until then, take care and stay safe.
